How wonderful! Now when you wrap up in it, you can get a hug from your mom all over again, and when the time comes, your son can get one from you.

A labor of love to save a historical quilt from your mom. A journey that enabled you to begin quilting and a save for a family heirloom. It can't get better than that!

What an endearing story. It gives you a sense of grounding to have a family heirloom to cozy up to. I have a couple quilts from our past that gives me a wonderful feeling of being loved when I touch them.
I am impressed you finished this one up. It looks like it was a puzzle to figure out.
