Very pretty quilt. For me, the hardest part is the quilting, so I would still be overwhelmed. Good luck with the quilting. Is this one for your own enjoyment, or is it going to be a gift to someone?

Very attractive! I like that it has a modern look but also seems timeless. Good colors, too!

No I haven't taken a pic of mine yet. Its in dark colors for a lady and it was one of the hardest quilts to finish due to the dark colors. I'm more in line for the brighter colors so I got it done as fast as I could to get it off my back but still need to quilt it. Think I know what I want to do but haven't made a definite decision. Here's the layout I chose and there's another pic showing a pattern I'm considering. These dark colors don't bother me but the ones I used did for some reason.

That looks like the MSQC Grand Adventure pattern, which is one I'd like to make. You did a beautiful job and I love your colors! Can't wait to see the quilting.

MicheleC You can also find this pattern on Bonnie Hunter's site. That's where I found my pattern. Have used it once prior to the one I just made.

thanks for all of your kinds words! I am taking this to be long armed quilt I could never quilt this on my home machine... and I don't have a big toy

Snooze2978 - that is great quilting and would be awesome. the visual effects are great I would love to see your quilt as well

audsgirl - I make a quilt every year to donate for my church's harvest dinner raffle - so that is where this one is going. I am making myself a curved log cabin. I am not very far along on that one yet.. but now with this one done I hope to make more headway and complete that one
