I converted the old bonus room into my sewing room. Now there is space for everything. I still need some shelves, but I can get those when I find a good deal on craig's list.

Up until now, everything was stored in a closet and the diningroom table was where I worked. Well now I can actually eat at the table and sew to my heart's desire.

You don't appreciate having a room dedicated to making quilts until you have one.....you can now slip in there and sew for 5 or 6 minutes or 5 or 6 hours.....having everything set up makes all the difference. Good luck and good sewing.

I Love it! roomy, bright, serene... Not only can you slip in there, as AnnieF said, for 5-minutes here and there; you can just sit and meditate and focus and visit your fabric, your patterns, your dreams. It's a Wonderful space you have. Have fun! :-)

Amazing what a coat of paint will do...Craigslist special, $50 for the sewing table and $50 for the cutting table and there you have a whole new room.

I'll say you got a sewing room !!!!
It is so nice. The best thing about a bonus room is that no one can see it. You can leave your projects right were you stop and come back to them when you are ready.
    Santa came early. Merry Christmas.

Yup Craigslist can be a real deal finder. The seewing table weighs a ton. Had to to take it apart to get it up the stairs.

The cutting table was never used. It was a xmas gift for a teenager and she lost her interest in sewing before she ever got started. Her mom sold it for $50.
