I don't think you can ever have too many pins! My DMIL gave me a pincushion last year, never felt I needed one. Boy was I wrong. I keep thinking everytime I use it, how did I survive without one? :-D

I used something that I had on hand called InnerFuse. It's a double-sided stiff fusible interfacing. It doesn't need to be fusible and there are products out there that you can buy by the yard.

That is so adorable! Thanks for the link. I have the generic stuffed tomato and have been looking for a replacement. This looks like it fits the bill!
