Default Finally quilted Papa’s Delight

Hello Quilters! I think I pieced this about 2 months ago. I couldn’t get out to look for a backing. I finally ordered one online. It was more a cheddar color than a corn yellow. Anyway, I had to use it so I quilted like I normally do, a meander or stipple. I quilted at first following the circles. I stitched in the ditch , then about 3/4 inch inside. I didn’t like the puffy look so I had to pick out those stitches 😩and start with my meander.
sorry, pictures load sideways when I resize them. Doesn’t make my work look good. I really like this block and the illions of circles it makes.-Toogie

Fabulous job Toogie. I like the B&W with the pop of yellow…and I love the pattern. Congratulations on meandering your way to the finish.

Fantastic, I agree! Love the black and white fabrics, and the piecing looks perfect .... all those curves!

Toogie, It looks fantastic, sideways or not. I feel your pain having to rip out, but the quilter always knows best, albeit too late sometimes. I too, have always loved this block and your black and white makes it pop. Great job.

I think that quilt is beautiful. I love the yellow added in for a great pop of color. Thanks for sharing it with us.
