    Thank you thank you thank you all for your very kind remarks! You have warmed my heart in such a very special way.

    I used the pattern for Trail to Treadleodia, and just added more and more squares until it was the size I wanted (if you google the pattern a wonderfully simple pattern comes up it is so easy to follow)
