I made this Sunbonnet Sue several years ago for a friend, however I fell in love with her, made another quilt for my friend, and decided to save this one for my 1st great grand daughter. After 9 DGS and 1 DGGS I am finally using my favorite quilt.

Both are beautiful!!!! I have a friend whose husband's family has not had any girls born for 7 generations. When I saw a post of Facebook about shopping for a girl, I was so excited for her.

Turns out it was for a girl at work. Oh well. Glad you finally got your girl for your beautiful quilt. I am sure that they will spend many, many, many happy years together.
