The basement foundation is not dug so deep as to have the basement totally underground - ours is about 4 feet into the ground, so most of the basement is above ground - hence, plenty of window space & light. Does that visual make sense?

Where did you get the 9-hole cube cubbie under the cutting table? I've been looking for white ones, want to use 3 sets under my cutting table & take off the legs-just wasted storage the way legs work.

i got them at menards but have seen them at target they were a little tall so i cut some off the bottom notice that the bottom cubbies are a little short

they are not custom but i did frame them and the shelves out with 1x2's and used baseboard around the bottom
