This is a good old rail fence brought to life (in my estimation anyway) by the combination of colors. I really enjoy the movement brought to the quilt by the border fabric. I wanted to focus on the colors and movement of the border fabric so it's quilted with simple diagonals. The binding fabric will be the same as the border.

Lovely colours .... you mentioned the border fabric, is it the same as the print in the one rail strip?

The border is in the lower left hand part of the photo. It is the same as one of the rail fences.
