Very bright and pretty quilt. I love doing binding as it is so relaxing while I sit and watch TV

Another happy fun quilt! I love binding its very relaxing especially during the summer when I can sit outside and enjoy the weather, an adult beverage and a good audiobook.

It is a wonderful quilt! I just love the colorful way it "spins" across the top. Do you have a machine binding foot? It takes the time and effort out of binding.

Cool quilt, Watson! I don’t enjoy the handstitching part of binding either, so I only hand stitch bindings for show quilts these days.

Here’s what I do to get a good looking machine stitched binding:

For double fold binding

1. stitch binding to back.
2. Flip binding to front and use wonder clips to hold in place
3. Use adjustable zipper foot adjusted so needle is inside the left notch on the foot as you are facing the machine.
4. Keep left edge of foot at edge of binding and stitch down with a straight stitch removing wonder clips as you come to them.

This is one of those ‘pretty’ and ‘makes you feel good’ quilts. I love it and that’s for the link!
