I am singing a "Happy Song" - I love my new machine! I got the scrappy bargello top done yesterday for granddaughter Becky- am debating about sashing yes or no - have 1 vote for yes and 1 for no.

Today, I finished the quilting on 2 UFO's - Nemo is for kids going to foster care, and the other is for Izzy - my granddaughter.

Wow you've been busy! I like the bargello. I think I'm gonna work on my binding and practice on the BOM tomorrow. Maybe I need to add a bargello to my list of things to do.....

Look at you go. I'm so glad you got a new machine. What did you get? Great job on all of them. Now, my machine is in the shop, but I have a backup for emergencies. I'm so proud of you.

I'd say you and your machine have a happy and creative future together! Wow, those are all wonderful. I think my fav is the scrappy for your granddaughter. I'm in love with scrappies! One of these days I'll try a bargello. Yours is gorgeous. In my opinion, a border would look nice. :)

Thank you! I got a Janome Sewist 525S.

Still on a learning curve as to what all it does - it is not the most fancy, but I love the self threader and it has a fair number of stitches, so I am a happy camper.

    Rein,
The quilts are great!!! I vote yes for a border, maybe one of your darker fabrics. A new sewing machine seems to give a burst of creativity . Keep up the good work!!
