My 301, AnnieRose, and I finished another quick quilt. I'm beginning to think that may be my kind of quilt. Annie did her usual good job, but I found I cannot follow a line quilting. The FMQ border - easy. The circles on the blocks - terrible, but I finally just decided to just get it done. The baby will see the bright colors and later the trucks, not the quilting. It is brighter than the picture. Another one I like the back better than the front.

How strange. This post disappeared shortly after I posted it on September 16, now to reappear today.

What an adorable quilt!!! I have scraps of that truck fabric I was wondering how to put into a quilt. I've saved your picture so I can use it as inspiration. Thank you for posting!

The truck squares were 5.5", the yellow strip 1.5". the log cabin strips 2.5" (x3) for a total of 14.5", minus 2" for 4 seams is 12 1/2" blocks. I do remember needing that size ruler to square them. I saw a quilt on a magazine cover with maple leaf blocks set like this. I had to add to the yellow strip before the LC strips to keep the colors contained.
