Like GailG, I want to say 'thank you' for making a difference in a child's life especially one with special needs.

I think it would be great to have the students write\draw something for the teacher and put those notes in the bag.

As a former special ed teacher, I can tell you they will love them, because teachers never have enough totes. They are very pretty, and nice colors. Teachers love colorful things around their kids.

My mom used to say you had to add at least a penny,,, its "seed money" for good luck. so their wealth will grow! I love the idea of candy/chocolate and also love the idea of notes from kids. Perhaps tape a coin in a little thank you note explaining why its there.
