Great job on the block. I really like the fabrics you used.

Thanks,
Sherryl

Are you using a small stitch? some say to use like a 1.5, but I chose to use a 2.0. Its easier to rip out if I need too. :). Im using copier paper so nothing special. I havent had any issues removing the paper.

are you backstitching at the corners? I dont backstitch for that reason, it makes it harder to get paper off. :) I just go beyond the point a couple of stitches.

Another great block! It will be so much fun for her to open them all up! I hope she posts a picture of all the blocks.

What I do is fold the paper back on itself before I sew the fabrics onto it and then when it is time to fold it back to cut the 1/4 seam allowance then I can do that with no problems. I have to be very careful about taking the paper off. I hold one fingernail on the stitches when I start taking it off and carefully tear it off. This way it doesn't start to come apart, but then again when I sew, I usually back stitch a stitch or two, no more then that. Sherryl I hope you got my block. Yes I too hope she posts a picture of the finished quilt with all our blocks on it. Looking forward to seeing it. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
