OMgoodness...........I have a blue teacup print that would be perfect for the border in your first quilt. However, I am like Tartan and think the dark blue really brings the project down so to speak. You could always trim the dark blue down to 1: then add a lovely blue twall border [I know twall isn't spelled right, but now I'm having a memory laps]

The other two are great quilts also, but I find myself being drawn to blue at this stage in my life, LOL.
I've been on a roll to finish piecing but haven't started the quilting yet.

This one is using border fabric. I'll have to decide if I like it or not.

This one will go in my husband's TV room

This one will eventually go on my bed.[/QUO

Way to Go. Keep at it and you'll be at the Fabric Store stocking up for the next batch of quilts.

Really like your color combination on the 3rd quilt and the use of the hourglass squares. On your attic windows, how did you deal with losing a quarter inch all around each square of the panel? I've been wanting to do one, but am afraid that it wouldn't look like the object in the panel carries through behind the window.

Great job! I agree with others about the darkness of the border on the 1st one. My favorite is the 3rd one. The colors are super! Wonderful!

I have everything to make the deer quilt. Mine will be a memory quilt to honor our hunter son.
Love how your quilts turned out.

it did look strange when I first laid it out, so I trimmed the panels down so that things fit better, instead of just cutting it into 9ths, before I sewed it all. Otherwise, there were pieces of deers' ears that were in the window next to them that looked odd. Also, I used 2" strips for the window frame which worked for this one, since it is the panel was quite large, but if I do another one with a more delicate picture, I will probably use smaller window strips.

I am most attracted to the top one, as I love those types of prints. I think it would look best framed by a delft blue fabric. Would you consider that?
