This looks great with the black background. I posted a pic of mine about 6 months ago did consider doing it in black but went with the cream background. I changed my border design as well from the original pattern. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to actually quilt these filler blocks freehand? I would still be on square one if I had to do that. For anyone who might be interested, this is all done on the embroidery machine and the "quilted" blocks (without additional fabrics) have around 27,000 stitches which were designed by Sharon Schamber. The small stars are all thread and the large stars are fabrics and thread. All done on the embroidery machine.

this is a one time only quilt. I did the goose track one also and would not do that again either. Having to do so many blocks a month is too much. Their new one Jacobean design will most likely be 20 blocks per month so Im going to pass on that one. I am going to look for your quilt.
