Love it. I might have to
make myself one. Thanks
for sharing the link. I
really like the way you
did the birds.
Hugs, Sharon

That came out really nice! I am sure your grandmas will love it! You are a dear for thinking of this for her. She will definitely be able to use this.

So thoughtful and beautiful and useful. Thank you for the pattern link. I also made a walker bag for my mother's walker in Wis and one for her walker in Florida where she is for the Winter.Instead of buttons I used velcro. I won't ever use the adhesive velcro again because stitching it gummed up the sewing needle and I had to replace it 3 times and it would cut the thread. Next time I will use regular velcro - pin and sew. She uses it all the time. I can see a big need for these bags. They need a place for the kleenex, water bottle, book, cough drops or tylenol, wallet, address book and note cards, remote phone and tv remote - lol. At least that is what my mom needs with her where ever she goes.

Dawn Marie,
I love it. I'd like to know where you found a pattern for is this your own creation.

I did a couple modifications to the pattern on this website: http://sewing.about.com/od/healthbea.../walkerbag.htm

I think your bag appears sturdier. I like the idea of using a upholstery fabric. Keep up the good work.
