I have always avoided W+N bc I thought once a quilt with it was washed it looked crinkly, like it needed a collision with an iron, real bad.
Yours doesn't look like that at all. It just looks so beautiful and soft, warm and cuddly.
This one would become a favorite of mine.

How "buttery" I may need some grits. Beautiful quilt.

LOL Cotton...I had to look at your location. I was really surprised to see PA when you said you "need" grits! I'm southern and even I don't need grits! LOL!

Mousie, I've never felt like I needed to iron my quilts after washing with the W+N. I like the crinkly look most of the time. If you do heavy quilting, it doesn't matter anyway since it can't do much shrinking. If its important to me that I don't have any shrinkage, then I'll use a poly batting. I'm going to try wool for my next one though, I just want to see what happens.

Your quilt is awesome. Is this an original design or can you share the pattern name.

Thanks,

Sandy

Great finish, congrats! Love the colors and the casualness of your porch quilt, thank you for showing :).
