Congratulations! You did a great job. Talk about not going super easy for your first completed quilt...  8) It sure turned out cute and I think you've got a real winner with that one.

I did have one question. How big is the pink area and is it completely unquilted? I wonder if it needs to have some stitching to hold the batting in place. If you didn't want to quilt that area, maybe a couple of bright buttons running down in a line would work. Just a thought.

The pink area is total of 13 inches square. And I did stitch in the ditch in this area as well. The seams are about 3 inches apart. Except for the cat body which is about 7 inches across. The warm and natural said I could go ten inches without quilting. I did think of adding some free-motion in the pink area, but thought it would take away from the rest of the quilt.

Hmm, that's always a dilemma - whether to quilt an area or leave it undone and hope it is quilted close enough. I love Warm & Natural, though I try to make sure I've quilted every 4-6 inches. Somehow 10-inches just seems like such a large space to me. That could just be me though. I do understand about not wanting to take away from the rest of the quilt. I'm sure glad it isn't me who has to make that decision!
