It's a beauty, any little boy would be thrilled with it. Wish I was a quilter when my own two boys were small, all I ever made them were matching jackets and clothes. Yes, I came up with the pattern. I do freelance artwork in my spare time for book covers and game designs, so I have a Wacom tablet. I drew the design to scale on the computer and then broke down each section to be printed like a puzzle then reassembled the paper and traced each piece on to a light weight fusible interfacing. I didn't trust myself to freehand a giant Totoro on to fabric. lol

EDIT: This was my original design. I came up with the tree later because at the time I wasn't sure how I wanted to fill in the background.
