I just looked up Affairs of the Heart - it sounded familiar and as soon as I saw the photo I remembered it. I am more than half way done with a Red and Green Traditional applique that I will be concentrating on and also one called "Little Brown Bird" of which I decided I do not like most of the blocks. I have two blocks done and decided I will use these blocks but design a totally different quilt using those two blocks in it - it will no longer be Little Brown Bird - it is too fussy for my taste after all. I think I will be doing a lot of applique this year while trying to get caught up on my hand quilting - I will have 3 large quilts waiting in line to be quilted soon.

Oh MY! That is a beautiful quilt! I am working on mine, and I WILL finish it, sometime!
I am not sure I will tackle another, but then I may. After the first one, the second will be known, at least!
