You did a fantastic job...The colors are stunning... I also like the color placement...Your friend will love it...Thats the sort of colors that I like too..Keep up the good work...There are thousands of ways to do log cabins..I never get tired of them..
So what are you going to do for your next project...It is going to be hard to top this one...

I am working on another log cabin for my Husband for Christmas. It's all done in civil war fabrics and I fussy cut Abe Lincoln's face for the centers. I am trying to get the top finished by the weekend so that I can mail both to Charisma for quilting in time for Christmas. I'll post a picture when I get the top done. It has been much harder to do because of the fussycutting and special placement of the blocks so that the faces are all in the same direction. I hope it turns out well!

I can hardly wait to see it...I bet it is stunning...You can do so much with a log cabin...I have been working on embroidery projects for others this week...

It's beautiful. Colors are so rich. I did a log cabin arranged like this once...I called it rick-rack.
