Absolutely stunning! You did a marvelous job with some very tricky cutting and sewing. I bought Geta's book and was thinking about trying one snowflake... what you have done is an awesome inspiration!

Thanks for the compliment You wouldn't want to curl up under it though- it is extremely stiff due to all the quilting. It hangs nicely one the wall though!

This really is too beautiful to use! I don't normally like quilts hanging on walls, but I'd make an exception for this gorgeous thing. What a work of art! You are very talented and hardworking!

It only takes practice. My last square is better than my first for sure. I had only started quilting about a year before doing this- and certainly not full time (I only quilt on the weekend). I just decided I was going to sit down and really practice and try to get good at it.
