Thanks. Actually I downsized the tree a few years ago. This I think will work out fine.

thanks for the inspiration! I bought fabric last year at an after Christmas sale for a tree skirt for this year. guess I better get busy.

I saw this over at Sewforum and was drooling all over it there.
Was this a Thimbleberries pattern from a book or one from their site? Okay. I shouldn't be so lazy. I should go and look at their site!! Very pretty all around! I'm getting closer to being done with my first tree skirt of the season... it is coming out nicely. I'll be posting pics hopefully next week if I can finish it by then!!

I got the pattern at my LQS. It is called Santa town square.

Awesome! Thanks for the roadmap ;) If I finish up the two I have started and the 3rd on my to do list I will call around and see if any of my locals have it. That came out really sharp. That is going to look fabulous under a tree - Are you keeping it for yourself or is it a gift? It would be so hard to part with!!
