Very beautiful. I have a book that shows how to do this with applique of the coloured parts onto a black background. I haven't tried it yet, but your quilt is inspirational.

A UFO huh...man If I were making one I would have to get it finished quickly..It is just soooo beautiful. I would want to show it off asap. I can see that doing it by hand may take a little longer than a few days. Glad you showed it to us. It is awesome.
