Default finished a new baby quilt today

well, it's all quilted anyway- I still need to *get off the computer* and get the binding stitched down. it sure turned out cute. the backing is the softest, loveliest flannel- oh so cute.

You all probably heard me say "Awwww!" when the picture appeared. A delightful picture of sweetness for a new parent. I love the fabric and color selections as well.

thanks all- normally I do not make baby quilts- I seem to have some *brain block* about them- they turn out cute- but I hate the whole process- it seems like they take as much thought, work, time as a queen sized quilt and then it's done & i'm ..... 'really- that's all it is?' ... I don't know- but to get me to make one really does about take an act of congress...I jump at any opportunity to make a large quilt- someone mentions new baby & i'm heading for the door... once in a while I get talked into it though. glad others like this one- maybe some day I will have a better attitude about making them & whip up a bunch of them (although- I never seem to be able to 'whip' one up)
