Hi Kate - no it wasn't difficult, although the appliqué hearts took a bit of time! I did a few each evening. Then the hand quilting took a while as well! Hence the 3 years total, although it did get put to one side now and again. It was one of those 'relaxed' projects with no timeframe. Sometimes I make things that I just want DONE! Other times, I have projects that are all about the process, this was one of the latter! :-D

The squares - 9 patches and hearts finish at 9" and the layout is 9 blocks by 9.

i would like to do a stained glass quilt with lots of different flwoers. does anyone know where i could get free..patterns. i could proably make them but would rather have help.
