Be really careful of those quilts, as I understand that can jam up a washing system and little ones will chew on the edge and get strings caught in their throats. I don't know - I haven't made any so I am only guessing that the person who told me that knew what she was talking about.

I like it. The colors are great and the rose is unique. Good job.

thanks ladies, my grandkids are over 10 yrs, old. I agree about young babies and the strings...I would not give one to a younger child.

I have explored internet and I could find not evidence of rag quilts being a choking hazard. There were many claims that it could be one, but no emperical evidence that it could happen.

In addition, I have a flannel rag quilt which I wash often and it has never clogged my washer.

You have raised valid concerns. I would hate to use a quilt that would cause damage to a child or my machines.

Does anyone know this to be true?

As I stated, I did not know personally about them. However, it does make sense if you stop and think about it.
    I really like this one.
