    Finished Projects..

Here are a few of the things I have done. I just started quilting not long ago. I have always sewn clothing but always wanted to learn how to quilt. I always loved my Granny's quilts. After retiring I decided to take a few classes at our local quilt shop. What a wealth of knowledge these classes were.

very nice. I love the colors. That's exactly what I did when I retired. I took some classes with no intention to make big projects but just to learn... I am making my third quilt now. Isn't it fun ?

I'm immediately drawn to that flower quilt ... LOVE it! You are doing great for a somewhat new quilter .. newbie? Was the flower quilt from a pattern ... ?

Very cheerful. What is the pattern of the flower quilt! I like the idea of just part of the flower showing.

You certainly have an eye for color combinations. Love all the colors together. It appears you really enjoy your new found desire to quilt. I am looking forward to seeing more of your colorful and wonderful work.

The flower quilt is called Tropical Punch. It is in a book called Young at Heart Quilts...by Julie Popa.
