Default Finished quilt

Finished my bed quilt today and am cheerfully and steadfastedly ignoring the several threads I've now noticed that escaped my eye when I was burying all my thread ends this afternoon! I'm very happy with how it turned out and have learnt quite a bit from the mistakes I made. I could even raise a chuckle when DH, upon viewing my masterpiece immediately pointed out one of the whoopsies! Mind you, I'll remember it when next I'm asked to view his next "masterpiece" out in his garage!!!!!!! Thanks for looking.

Well, it is a beautiful quilt and looks fantastic on your bed! I even like the way you quilted it. Why is it that some people need to point out the whoopsies before even noticing all the work and beautifulness of the piece? Do they think you don't already know about the mistake since you have been toiling away on it for hours/days? What's that saying .... "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything" or something like that. Perfection can be wonderful but so can getting something finished even if it isn't "exactly" perfect. I would not want to be known as that person who always points out mistakes unless someone specifically asked me if I saw any. Be proud of your quilt and sleep warmly under it as you head into winter!

What a pleasant pattern! I love the squares in the center on the diagonal in combination with the triangles, lovely!
A great picture of the person in front of the lamp. Is that you? It looks a like an angel with a halo. :-)

A beautiful soft and comfy looking quilt. I love the pattern and the fabric used - something one would never tire of.

Beautiful, calm and serene quilt. You did a great job in spite of the flaws you or your DH may notice. I didn't see any.
