My older son gave me four Go templates for Christmas and the only one that intimates me is the apple core. Please say its easy peasy! Yours make it looks like I will have to do a lot of practicing before I actually do a real quilt.

I won't say easy peasy, but as you sew these, it gets easier. I never could decide which side on top was easier, but since there are reverse curves, it doesn't matter. Ya gotta do 'em both. Starting the pieces together is very counter-intuitive, but after that matching the pieces just before they go under the needle and don't pin. And of course, gentle, gentle. Lots of bias here. But overall, I really did enjoy making this top.

please -- would love to see it. All of the red in this top was from scraps, but I still have more than I know what to do with so I might try it again scrappy.
