    Finished!!!

I just finished a baby quilt that I am making for a close friend's first grandbaby. Very different from my "straight line" quilts I have made in the past and the first quilt I have made as a gift, (not counting my kids). Also got a wild hair and tried free motion quilting for first time. My squiggles aren't perfect but wasn't sure what to do with the circles. Very relieved it is finished, but please don't look too close....far from perfect. I made a decision years ago that my sewing is for fun and will never be close to perfect.

What a neat fun quilt. Great to teach baby colors. The different quilting styles give a nice texture to different areas of the quilt.

Your quilt is so so pretty. I am glad you enjoyed making it, because it is just so nice too. You did a wonderful job, and the colors and circles are so pretty. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Love your quilt and love the way you think. I sometimes really agonize over my decisions and that does take the fun out of the day. Great job. Love your FMQ.

It is adorable. I like your quilting on the circles not all being the same.

This is an awesome quilt! I have been so afraid of circles. Does this pattern have a name? Thank you.

I like it a lot. I have been wanting to do a circle quilt. You have inspired me to get going on one.
I don't want to brag but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.

I love your quilt. I've made the same decision as you and I am definitely enjoying quilting much more.
