Finally finished son's quilt. This is the one I had to wait so long to get the fabric I ran out of. Remember I am still a newbie, and I have several flaws and I am still not that great at sewing straight yet. This is also the first big quilt I have quilted on the machine. The other was a small dog blanket. Anyway enough excuses.....lol. Here are the pics. The main thing is my son loves it.

That's really a "winner." (Pink would have been a nice backing, something to talk about over the years  ) I'm sure it won't be out of his sight anytime soon!!

I wouldn't know you couldn't sew straight by looking at your terrific quilt! And if you ever do learn, then you can teach me!

The quilt turned out great. Well worth waiting for the proper fabric. Love the back too. You did good! Now we wait to see the green quilt. Hurry! (I've always been impatient!)

Great job Toni and glad you found your fabric!:0)This was a gutsy choice in colors for your first quilt!:))Black and white would make any small imperfection stand up and yell-which I see none!! You did an amazing job and really should be proud of yourself! I will be excited to see what great things come from you in the future! You have found your gift! Great job!!Skeat
