you have given me that little push i needed to get started on the heart quilt..i sewed the borders on them this morning..

now to make them wonky. i think they will end up being 9.5" unfinished. i have 18 of them..

You made the quilt that got me into quilting! I waited until I could get a picture uploaded, took a while. My neighbor made this quilt for someone and they never paid her for it, I was super happy about that because I wanted to buy it for my son. I have had it for 6 years and the raw edge applique hasn't frayed a bit. I love the way you embroidered the clouds and your color scheme is a bit more my style, but here is a pic for you of it in a more pastel style. Once I realized how awesome it was, light but warm, visually stimulating, so much nicer than just a fleece blankie or mass produced commercial blanket, I knew I needed to learn how for myself!
