Just finished this quilt. I am so in love with the colors and patterns. And I really love the piano border. This was my first quilt!.

The pattern was a really easy strip piecing pattern from Hoffman Fabrics (it was free at the time- although it is still availible for purchase).

I used the Bali Pops (it took several packs) so it ended up a little pricey. If I were doing it again I would buy fat quarters and cut my own strips).

The quilt was quilted by a local lady that my mom discovered. I'm not ready for FMQ yet!

The pattern is really simple, two sets of strips (one with two rows, one with three rows), then cut apart and turned. It looks more intricate than it really is.

I love your quilt, and I'm wondering if others on the board would post quilts they've made with batiks????? When Bobbi starts selling and we all start buying, it would be nice to have some ideas from others. Carol

Great job! It is beautiful! I have done a Trade winds, and I never realized it was one of those "tube" ruler quilts. I decided to turn my blocks (have to be different) and made them into diamonds. I will have to post and show you.

I found the pattern online in a pdf, just without the piano key border:
