You all are too nice!:)I do have a funny to tell you for all you that like that skeleton one...I was told it looked like 'c**p' from an instructor at a quilt group. Here is where we have to laugh internally. I have no prob. w/anyone doing things different in quilting-and, this gal is literally stuck in the 70's. Which makes for a great folk artist in many ways, but, doesn't make mine 'c**p' for not doing it her way. So, for all of you that hear these words....laugh! It must be good!LOL

The first quilt is 'Halloween Orange Work Stitchery Quilt' by a Shirley Hudson (the close-up of the cat head is on this quilt) Her online site is at: http://www.hudsonsholidays.com/hudsonsholidays3_035.htm

second quilt -A pattern by Debra Hearns and the fabric she used. She is also online w/a site.

third-orange fish...for my kid. She loves her fish and I had to do this quilt when I found the goldfish fabric. Each w/a different name-too funny! I just made my own crazy block to fit it.

four-That is 'Happy Hauntings' by The Vintage Spool/Verna Mosquera. She has some pretty stuff! This was a fun but time consuming one that I did '1' block at a time to not get frustrated or overwhelmed w/what is ahead:) I did blind hem stitch to the appliques to get as close to hand work as possible w/o the time invested. So, there is the scoop...:)Thanks for the compliments! I should print and take to that instructor-huh?!LOL Skeat

There is nothing wrong w/that or we all wouldn't be quilters for the hundreds of years in sharing blocks!LOL You will have fun w/this. I traced the pattern on my backing by taping it to the patio door and then putting the background fabric over it and using a pencil. Took these everywhere I went till they were all done:)Keep us posted on your progress over there-love to see your finished piece! Mine hung in our LQS until just recently and she sold many patterns over having a visual. Skeat
