My friend was thrilled! She visited and I had it finished. The friend she was staying with is a graphic designer/painter and brought me quilt books she did the graphic illustrations for. So there was joy abound. If your quilt is a little wavy, you need to stretch the binding as you attach it. If it's very wavy, stretch a little more. If it's lengthwise fabric, you can stretch quite a bit. If it's width of fabric, don't stretch too much.

I have always stretched my binding (a little or a lot) as it is being applied and have never had a wavy edge on a quilt.
