Default "On The Green" landscape quilt

I made this golf course wall art quilt for my hubby, who recently retired. This quilt was also inspired by Karen Eckmeier's accidental landscape technique. Her book "Accidental Landscapes" does not include patterns, per se. But she walks you through all the steps you need to know to create these wonderful landscapes, using gentle curves and top stitching.

Love the wall hanging. Art quilts are very special because they allow the real you to shine.

Beautiful and creative quilt. You did so much detail in it and I certainly love the border fabric-it is so appropriate for a golfer.
