Please come to my house. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, on a peaceful farm, in a 220+ year old cottage, where my whole living room is my studio. I'll treat you sweet and fix you yummy meals and goodies while you finish mine, okay?

All the tops were completed months ago...I build them up & then spend a week or 2 just doing the quilting & binding. My room looks like a wreck with sheets everywhere & things moved or covered to protect from the basting spray. It's not my favorite part of quilting! I don't work so I have plenty of time to do it all. I am one of the lucky ones!

Thanks for all the nice comments...The dalmation quilt is my favorite too; it started with the pillow panels & had just enough of the other fabric to just do the borders. I have alot of pillow panels...used to make the pillows...not anymore; so quilts they will be. The jungle animal one was the bumper pads to start that quilt. My next favorite is the pastel one I had to applique the butterflies on to cover a couple of spots that would not come off...design opportunity. And it is absolutely nothing but different size scraps! I'm sorta glad it happened, cuz it really turned out cuter I think. Give me scraps & I have a ball with them!

The word, "prolific" comes to mind...as in you are a prolific quilter. And very talented. Any of these will be welcomed by their recipients. WOWSER!

Thanks for sharing. Good inspiration for me to get busy and get these donated quilts completed and on to those that can appreciate them.

Good job, I need to do the same thing. Have said I won't start another quilt until all 6 of the ones I have are finished. They all need quilted .
