Your sewing room is very nice, and looks like you will have a lot of enjoyment there. Your potholders are very pretty.

Really like your room. I wash my fabric as I go. If it isn't washed it's in a hamper to be washed and only for sewing/quilting. Like the potholders a lot.

Your room is so nice! I have an older grace frame and wish mine had the end ratchet wheels yours has!!
I made some pot holders that look simular to these (no pattern) I just quilted a piece of quilt sandwich.. backing,a couple layers of cotton batt. and top fabric then cut heart shape out of quilted sandwich, and two pieces the same size from a matching fabric and fold each in half and bound the straight edge & laid them on top of the quilted heart shape and bound them together. good way to make quick gift out of practice quilt pieces love them!

That is a pattern I bought at the quilt store owlvamp. I don't recall the name of it, but, I am sure it is still available.

I have been off the board a little of late and didn't realize this thread had been brought back up. Sorry... but, thanks so much everyone! There is a solid bank of cabinetry that lines above my sewing desk now. It is so nice to have a organized place to sew. And if it is a mess, you just close the door. LOL!

Oh those potholders? They make great little gifts. Your hand skips into the sides so you can't get burned. I love them.

Can you post where you got your pattern for the potholders? They are really cute.

I got them at Going Batty in reno Nevada. But, I am pretty sure you could find them at most quilt stores.
