    First 2012 projects for QFK

These are the first quilts I'll be sending to Quilts For Kids this year. The spider man was done entirely this year. The other was pieced last year. The close up block is more true to color than the photo of the entire quilt. They are both my first efforts at all-over FMQ following the guidance of Leah Day's 2012 quilt along.

Beautiful kids quilts. Love the look of the spider man quilt. Such lucky children to receive these two. And, great job on the FMQ. You have more moxie than I.

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to be making an effort to make more quilts that boys would like. QFK says they are always 'short' for those. The spider man quilt actually turned out to be more fun to make than I had thought it would be.
