My goodness it looks and sounds like it's very difficult. Don't know if I will try this one. I really like chanille.

Don't you love learning new techniques? Even when all I really learn is that it's not a technique I want to use again, I'm generally happy to have tried it. You did a great job. Smart using your daughter :-)

I've never done anything that big doing the chenille process. I'll be it will be really cozy when it fluffs even more.

Oh ya!!! I just love learning how do do new things. This one, I don't think I will do alot, but it is good to know how to do it, and next time, how to do it differently. My daughter was such a help!!! Oh, I can't tell you how much of a help she was. I had carpel tunnel and still have issues with it and cutting with scissors brings out some pain and cramping up. I'm just glad that she enjoys it.

I'm sure it will fluff up more. I will throw it in with the next few washings that I have to see how it turns out.

I LOVE doing Chenille....I have done several rugs. I bought some Batiks that I wanted to do a rug with and the lady at the quilt shop told me Batiks will not fray.....so glad she told me as I would be very upset having spent all that money on Batik fabric and then it not fray.

I wonder if they really will. I know it is a tighter weave, but they should fray a little bit. Maybe I will try it out to see how it works. Just a small test one. Or maybe you could do a few layers of flannel and then batik with it so you will still have the fray but if one layer doesn't...it really wouldn't matter. Now I'm curious!!!
