Great comment & good job - always scary the first time out - I think I procrastinated for about 2 months before I finally got up the nerve to do it on a eagle quilt that took me 3 months to just embroider the eagles -was scard to death that I would ruin the quilt. In the end it came out well - so for you dear lady - CONGRATS!

You are giving me courage, might just try some on placemats this weekend. Love your quilt, made one for my Grandson in Gator (Univ of FL) prints, orange, and blue wth a matching pillow. I machine quilted it on diagonal diamonds. He's getting it ths weekend. Hope he lies it.

Looking good. I am putting together a queen size quilt. My options are to put on the big girl panties and give FMQ a whirl on my home machine or let friend do it on her mid arm. Hers would be prettier, but this is a gift and the recipient will be so proud if I do it for her. If I give it for Christmas I have lots of time to practice and decide who will quilt it.
That is my tenative game plan.
So happy for you that you jumped right in and you are doing a fantastic job.

Excellent. I have been practicing on small projests. I find if i leave the needle down i don't have as many of the little points.
