You did a wonderful job!!!!! I can only stab stitch as well. I think as long as you find what works best for you...then how ever you do it is fine. Again, this is beautiful!

You really did an excellent job! and I'm a picky hand quilter. Also.. even though I've been at this for MANY years the stab stitch (or needlepoint style) quilting is my method of preference. Keep at it you'll get even better..

don't give up, your stitches are beautiful. As for rocking the needle maybe you have too much tension on the material, hand quilting needs to be just a little loose, you should be able to press it down just a little in the center. As for the frame, everyone has their fav but mine is the q-snap, easy to reposition and move about with you http://www.qsnap.com/
