    Here are pictures of the progress of a baptismal dress and jacket for our new granddaughter. We used my DDIL's wedding dress for fabric. I had a hard time cutting into the dress, but my DIL was more than ready. Thanks to Cris for the pattern and everyone for the ideas in the other post I had.

    What a heirloom to be treasured!

    My grandmother made my father's baptismal gown & it has been worn by babies for 3 generations so far.

    just beautiful. My DIL wants me to make her wedding dress into a quilt. I just can't bring myself to cut into it.
