Having a little break from work I finally decided to just use some random fabrics and start making some easy blocks from block of the month 2012. I am very glad I have finally begun on my quilting journey, just a pieced top with borders still to add and the quilting and binding to go, but have enjoyed it so much. I just know now I have begun I will learn and improve as I go. Thank you for the hints, tips, and inspiration I have found here on this board. Will try to upload photo.

Welcome to the world of quilting. Your quilt is lovely and your piecing is great. I've taken some classes, but really most of what I have learned comes from the internet. There is so much to learn out there. Have fun on your quilting journey.
