Love your quilt. I make lots of string quilts, but never one like yours. I am putting it on my to do list.

I love your quilt! The way you did the colors is really great! I also have used sheets to back my quilts, I know some say not to do that, do to the tight weave of the sheet fabric, but I have never had a problem with it...Plus, I had ordered in some high thread count expensive sheets, and they did not fit dh and my bed at all (we have xl twin adjustable beds, the bottom fitted sheets are separate, I use 1 king sheet across the top. Its so hard to get high quality "soft" sheets that fit right) Anyways, I just had to figure out something to do with those sheets, so used them in a couple of quilts...and the backs are really soft on them now, too...

Awesome quilt! Love the way you did the colors. In fact, I'm keeping a photo. You know what they say: imitation is the highest form of flattery! I've just started doing string quilts, but I think I'll need a little more practice before I can line something up this precisely in terms of colors. Anyway, beautifully done, and kudos to you for such beautiful work!

I think it turned our awesome!
What a clever variation of the traditional string quilt! Even your backing is clever and pretty too.

It's really unique. Never have seen (or if I did I can't remember) seeing one with the colors like this. Very pretty!

Spectacular! After looking at your string quilt I've decided that I'm going to make one. Love the color variation, and the appliqued flowers on the back are a nice touch, too.
