    First Finish of 2014

This one sat in a quilt sandwich but unfinished for months (big surprise). Now that I'm out of school I've been working on finishing up some UFOs. I had it quilted by a local quilter in my grandmother's quilt group and it has been sent on to my brothers in San Francisco. I meant it to be a shared quilt between the two of them...but apparently one never even saw it before the other claimed it as his own! Sorry for huge pictures. I still need to figure out how to appropriately resize them on my Mac.

Wow and welcome to the QB. A very nice, manly quilt - your lucky brother. Maybe you can make the other brother one too!

Very nice quilt. It looks like the other brother needs a quilt, also.
Welcome to the board. I hope you enjoy it at least as much as I do.

Great quilt and wonderful colors. I can see why the brother who saw it first claimed it!

Very nice quilt. Welcome to the board. Your quilt inspector looks almost a twin to my quilt inspector!

That's a wonderful quilt! I think swirly quilting really looks great on linear designs so it is perfect. So glad to see that it was "kitty-approved" - lol.

Wow, wonderful use of the gray and blue with the black. And love your quilting. The inspector is adorable too.

It's a beautiful quilt, and so rewarding when the recipient "claims it"!
