    First finished quilt of 2013

Finished my Warm Wishes baby quilt. Thanks to Tartan for the water meandering idea, it looks great--wish you could see it in the photos. Waiting for my label from Sewnsewer2 to make it officially complete. Quilted dolphins, star fish, shells, and rainbows in the squares; unfortunately you can't see them in the picture.Name: PICT0185.JPG

Oh that is striking. When the picture opened up all I could say is wow!! The colors are spectacular and the prints are inviting. Great job.

Oh how funny! I also am working on a warm wishes childs quilt. It is amazing how changing the colors really changes up this quilt. I love how fast it goes together too.

All that being said, I love yours. The sea theme is so fun to work with and to see.

I didn't have a pattern, I just saw a quilt top made up and did my own thing with it. It's basically rail fence blocks and squares and you alternate the direction of the rail fence block with each row.
