    Good start, Nan, and kudoes for being brave and just doing it. Definitely takes a lot of practice to build muscle memory, get into a rhythm, remember to breathe and not hold a death grip on the fabric. It's getting more fun for me every time, but I was sweating on my first "real" attempt.

    If this is a first attempt, I can't imagine what your work will be like in 2-3 quilts from now. Excellent!

    Very nice FMQ. Just doing it is all it takes.

    I take turns with two machines. One foot pedal is easier to use. I just need to quilt on the Juki and piece on the other.
